China hasn’t encroached any Nepali territory: Home Minister Thapa   

Kathmandu: Home Minister Ram Bahadur Thapa on Saturday clarified that there was no border encroachment from the Chinese side at Hilsa of Humla district.

Talking to journalists in Surkhet, Home Minister Thapa said the Ministry for Foreign Affairs had already given clarification matter, adding that the border encroachment at Hilsa was not as reported in the media.

Earlier, addressing a press conference at Khalangga of Darchula, Minister Thapa said border security could be effective if local residents could be mobilized rather than only deputing security personnel.
