Secured livelihood for the people is Govt.’s top priority : P.M. Oli

Kathmandu: Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli on Friday said ensuring a secured livelihood for the people by eradicating poverty had been the top priority of the incumbent government.

In a virtual address to the High-Level Meeting for Poverty Alleviation under the 75^th United Nations General Assembly (UNGA), Prime Minister Oli informed that poverty rate had declined in Nepal in recent years compared to the previous years.

P.M. Oli said that his government had been highly prioritizing social security with the slogan “No one will be left hunger; No one would die of hunger.”

Prime Minister Oli said that Nepal was able to achieve great strides in poverty alleviation as poverty in Nepal was analyzed through different dimensions ; not only in terms of money and finances .

Meanwhile, Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli is scheduled address the 75th General Assembly of the United Nations later on Friday via a pre-recorded video.
