NCP decides to send the party’s Vice-Chair Bamdev Gautam to national assembly

Kathmandu: Nepal Communist Party (NCP) has decided to send the party’s Vice-Chair Bamdev Gautam to the national assembly.

Nepal Communist Party’s Spokesperson Narayan Kaji Shrestha said party chair and PM KP Sharma Oli informed the party’s secretariat meeting on Thursday that the government reached to a conclusion of recommending the party’s Vice-Chair Bamdev Gautam to nominate him as a member of the National Assembly.

Spokesperson Shrestha further said the meeting decided to urge all move ahead keeping social harmony and tolerance intact at this hour of COVID-19 pandemic and natural calamities.

He also said the secretariat meeting yesterday had a general discussion on the report submitted by the party’s taskforce and steps would be taken only after additional discussion and amendments.

Spokesperson Shrestha also said the standing committee meeting of the party would be held at a suitable time.
