Nepal to have air connection with additional three countries

Kathmandu: The government is signing air service agreements with three more countries.

A meeting of the High-Level Management Committee under the Tourism Ministry on Sunday decided to sign air service agreements with Indonesia, Finland and Russia. Nepal has already signed air service agreements with 40 countries.

Taking part in the meeting, Minister for Culture, Tourism and Civil Aviation Yogesh Kumar Bhattarai directed the subordinate bodies of the ministry to accomplish their annual work plan on the stipulated time.

The meeting has also decided to coordinate with the airline companies not to increase their regular airfare amid the pandemic. The committee also decided to remind the Nepali Airline companies not to increase their fare.

Likewise, the meeting decided to constitute a four-member committee under the coordination of Under-Secretary of the Tourism Ministry Ram Krishna Lamichhane to monitor and ease the programme of bringing standard Nepalese in foreign countries back home.
