Prachanda condemns bomb blast at Baskota’s house

Chairman of the Communist Party of Nepal, Pushpa Kamal Dahal Prachanda, has condemned the bomb blast at the Lokanthali house of the party’s central member and the then Minister for Communication and Information Technology Gokul Baskota.

Chairman Prachanda today issued a statement calling on the government of Nepal to take control of the criminals involved and take strong legal action.

A pressure cooker bomb was detonated at the house of the then Minister of Communication and Information Technology Gokul Baskota today. The blast smashed the windows of the house and the compound wall is collapsed.

Police have started an investigation into the incident.
