Tamang Community  marked their New Year

Tamang Community  marked their New Year: Sonam Lhosar on Saturday with much fun fair.

From Saturday, 2856th year of the Manjushree Calendar began. Saturday also marked the end of pig year and the start for the mouse year.

Sherpas, Gurungs, Magars, Thakalis and Jirels also mark Sonam Loshar.
