CIAA filed corruption cases against 13 individuals

Commission for investigation of Abuse of Authority has filed corruption cases against 13 individuals including the then district forest officer of Makawanpur Rajendra Neuapane at the special court.

The anti-graft body has accused the then district forest officer Neupane of embezzling more than 15 million 219 thousand rupees colluding with the office bearers of Seti Devi Community Forest Consumer Committee.

The commission has sought a fine of 15 million 219 thousand rupees each from the then district forest officer Neupane, deputy forest officers Ram Babu Yadav, Rajendra Man Bhandari, Bishal Bhattarai, Sona Lal Prasad Jaisawal, Narayan Bahadur Karki, Rangers Raju Lama, Mohan Raj Ghimire, Forest Guard Kiran Kumar Chhetri, Dhana Lalal Yadhav, Chair of the Consumer Committee Kamansing Nyasur, Consumer committee Secretary Hari Maya Moktan and  Consumer Committee Treasurer Rejina Gole.

Likewise a corruption case has been filed against Principal of Panna Devi Higher Secondary School,  Sunar Pati Yadav for embezzling 1 million 226 thousand rupees.

Similarly, the commission filed a corruption case against Pyuthn District Road division Chief Divisional Engineer Dhruba Kumar Shrestha and Engineer Niroj Maharjan who has been arrested with a bribe money of 2 million rupees.
