Five hurt in jeep accident in Baglung

December 21 : Five people were injured, two of them severely, in a jeep accident occurred at Badigad rural municipality-2 in Baglung this morning

The pickup jeep  en route to Sisakhani from Kharwang Bazaar, fell some 200 meters down from the road, leaving the five injured. They are jeep driver Ramesh Shreesh, Shanti Thapa, Bibisha Thapa, Nunu Reshmi and Chura Kumari Thapa of Badigad rural municipality-3.

Of them, condition of Bibisha and Nunu is said to be serious, and they are referred to the Palpa-based Mission Hospital, District Police Office Baglung’s Deputy Superintendent of Police Jhabindra Prasad Bhattarai said. One of the jeep tyres got separated from the vehicle all of a sudden, leading to the accident, it is said.
