Nepal and China sign MoU on increasing inter-parliamentary activities and high-level visits

September 12, Kathmandu: The Chairman of the Standing Committee of the National People’s Congress of the People’s Republic of China, Li Zhanshu, and the Speaker of the House of Representatives, Agni Prasad Sapkota, held a meeting on Monday.

During a delegation-level bilateral meeting held at the Federal Parliament building in Kathmandu, a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed between Nepal and China to increase high-level parliamentary visits.

While welcoming the Chinese leader at the Federal Parliament building, Speaker Sapkota expressed his happiness over Chairman Li’s visit to Nepal.

 Speaker Sapkota has organized a state banquet in honour of Chairman Li and his delegation at Hotel Soaltee on Monday evening.
