Supreme Court to open full time on Friday

August 5, Kathmandu: The Supreme Court service will be provided full hours on Friday as well.

The apex court has decided to work full-time with the aim of implementing the action plan for the reduction of outstanding cases.

The full court of the Supreme Court on July 6 decided to provide full-time service with effect from August 5, Friday.

As of May 13, 2022, there were 4,819 cases pending in the court that has exceeded a period of five years.

Likewise, there are 17, 612 cases that have exceeded two years, according to Supreme Court spokesperson Bimal Paudel.
