PM Deuba reiterates government’s commitment to providing basic health services
Kathmandu: Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuaba says the government is committed to providing fundamental health services to people in an affordable manner.

Addressing the 133rd anniversary of Bir Hospital in Kathmandu on Thursday, Prime Minister Deuba reiterated the government’s priority for the development of the health sector.
He added that the government had allocated a budget for setting up health infrastructure and producing skilled health workers.
The Prime Minister said no one should be deprived of health services due to unaffordable treatment fees.

Prime Minister Deuba also applauded Bir Hospital for its contribution to ensuring people’s access to health services.
Also speaking on the occasion, State Health Minister Umesh Shrestha thanked Bir Hospital for providing dedicated services for battling Covid-19.
