CPN-UML will forge electoral alliance with parties having similar agenda: UML General Secretary Pokhrel

Kathmandu: CPN UML General Secretary Shankar Pokhrel has said the UML will forge an electoral alliance with parties having similar agendas.

Addressing an interaction organized by the party’s publicity department on Wednesday, General Secretary Pokhrel said only if political parties were strong they would be able to lead the country with the right policy.

He further claimed that the malign influence of small political parties in the government’s affairs made the government directionless. He added the purgation of the political parties was necessary for bolstering democracy.
