NC General Secretaries Thapa and Sharma demand EC make arrangements for voting rights for Nepali citizens abroad

Kathmandu: Nepali Congress General Secretaries Gagan Kumar Thapa and Bishwa Prakash Sharma, have demanded the Election Commission make arrangements for voting rights for Nepali citizens living abroad.

Leaders duoThapa and Sharma met Chief Election Commissioner, Dinesh Kumar Thapaliya on Tuesday and drew the Commission’s attention to take the decision to ensure the voting rights of Nepali citizens living abroad as the Supreme Court has already given a verdict on that issue.

They sought Election Commission’s support saying the central working committee of the Nepali Congress has already made the decision in order to make arrangements for voting rights for the Nepali citizens living abroad.
