Utilization of natural resources is a must for ending poverty and creating employment within the country: PM Deuba

Kathmandu: Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba has stressed the need for using natural resources for eradicating poverty and creating employment opportunities within the country.

Addressing the general assembly of the Far western region Concern forum in Kathmandu today, Prime Minister Deuba said though the far western region of the country witnessed gradual infrastructural development and was linked with the road and air routes, the rate of the poverty in the region was not reduced.

He also pledged for the economic and infrastructural development of the far western region.  

The Prime Minister also pointed out the need for cooperation among all three tiers of government in the formulation of policies and programs to end poverty and inequality.
