HoR concludes deliberations on budget
Kathmandu: The House of Representatives concludes deliberations on the budget for the upcoming fiscal year.
Taking part in the deliberations, CPN (UML) Lawmaker Pradip Kumar Gyawali alleged the government of inviting both political and economic instability in the country.
He said that the Finance Minister should have brought the budget considering the challenges posed by the present economic crisis in the world.
However, Nepali Congress lawmaker Gagan Kumar Thapa said programmes related to decreasing the trade deficit and increasing the production are excellent ones in the budget.
He added that the budget has brought the right policy on decreasing the trade deficit.
Likewise, CPN Maoist Centre Lawmaker Giriraj Mani Pokharel stressed the need for enhancing the skills and capacity of the teachers for imparting quality education.
Speaker Agni Prasad Sapkota informed the House that Finance Minister Janardan Sharma would respond to the queries of lawmakers on Friday.
