Congress wins in Harinas Rural Municipality-1

Waling: Indra Bahadur Gurung of Nepali Congress has emerged victorious in Harinas Rural Municipality-1 of Syangja district.

Gurung, who won the ward in an alliance between the Nepali Congress and the CPN (Maoist Center), polled 804 votes.

 His nearest rival Milan Raj Shrestha of the CPN (UML) polled 542 votes. There is a difference of 262 votes between the two ward chairpersons. Similarly, Laxmi BK won with 823 votes, Devi Maya Darji with 809 votes, Tej Bahadur Thapa with 765 votes and Prem Bahadur Manandhar with 804 votes, said Election Officer Ghanshyam Subedi.
