Education Minister Poudel and NPC Vice-Chairperson Poudel meet

Kathmandu: Education Minister Devendra Poudel held a meeting on Friday with the National Planning Commission Vice Chairperson Dr Bishwa Poudel in a bid to increase the budget for the education sector.

During his meeting, the Education Minister urged Vice-Chairperson Poudel to increase the size of the education budget by at least 20 per cent.

According to Minister Poudel, the government was preparing to run NAST offices in all provinces. In response, Vice-Chairperson Poudel assured that the budget for education would be increased in the upcoming fiscal year.
