Public holiday in ‘Madhesh Pradesh’ on Tuesday

January 18, Kathmandu: The Madhes provincial government has declared a public holiday in the province on Tuesday to celebrate the naming of the province and determination of a permanent capital.

Spokesperson of the Province 2 government and Finance Minister Shailendra Prasad Sah shared that the government had announced a public holiday on January 18 to celebrate the decision of the provincial assembly of naming the province as ‘Madhes’ with Janakpurdham as its permanent capital.
