Nepal receives nearly 2 million doses of Moderna vaccine under COVAX facility

Kathmandu: Nepali has received nearly 2 million additional doses of Moderna anti-Covid -19 vaccine under the COVAX facility.

Senior Pharmacy Officer at the Management Division of the Health Service Department Bade Babu Thapa informed that Nepal received 1.9 million 65 thousand and 8 hundred doses of Moderna vaccine on Sunday.

With this, Nepal has received 3.6 million 51 thousand and 6 doses of Moderna vaccines so far under the COVAX facility.

The government is preparing to vaccinate the Moderna jab to the people aged between 12 to 18 from December 19.
