CPN Unified Socialist leader Rajendra Rai claims chief minister’s post in Province 1

Province 1 Chief Minister Bhim Acharya has resigned from his post today.

Meantime, CPN Unified Socialist leader Rajendra Rai has submitted his claim for the post of Province 1 Chief Minister with the signatures of 50 province lawmakers.

Maoist Centre leader Jhalak Singh Darlami informed that the Nepali Congress, Maoist Centre, Janata Samajwadi Party and the Limbuwan had backed leader Rai for the new Province Chief Minister.

Leader Rai submitted the claim to Province 1 Chief Som Nath Adhikari today.
