Nepal Electricity Authority to fulfill electricity demands of industries and businesses

October 4, Kathmandu: The Nepal Electricity Authority has pledged to fulfill the electricity demands of the industries and businesses in the country.
The authority has asked the industrial and business firms to submit applications stating their demands and said it would provide demanded electricity via its 132 KV transmission lines.
The Authority has also requested the entrepreneurs to set up their firms near substations for easy and quick electricity supply.
Talking about the present situation of the availability of electricity in the country, Managing Director of Nepal Electricity Authority Kul Man Ghising informed that, now the country has 400 Mega Watt surplus electricity at night and the authority could fulfil the demands of the industries.
