NC’s ward level convention concludes in 35 districts

September 4, Kathmandu: Ward level conventions of Nepali Congress have begun from Friday.

Party’s Central Election Committee Coordinator Mahadev Prasad Yadav informed that ward conventions of 35 districts had been completed on Friday.

He further said leaderships were chosen unanimously in some wards and other wards elected their leadership through the election.

Nepali Congress has published name list of its active members in 56 districts for the first phase of the ward level convention.

Meantime, Nepali Congress Spokesperson Biswa Prakash Sharma said active membership lists of the party in the remaining 21 districts would be published soon and the ward level conventions would be held within the 12 of September.
