Probe committee submits Darchula incident report to Home Minister Khand

September 1, Kathmandu: The probe committee formed to investigate the incident of disappearance of Jayasingh Dhami– who went missing in the Mahakali River, has concluded that the incident took place in the presence of the Indian Border Security Force (SSB).
The Committee had submitted its report on Tuesday to Home Minister Bal Krishna Khand .
The Statement issued by the Home Ministry stated that the committee also recommended the Ministry to take initiative through diplomatic channels with the Indian side to investigate the incident.
The Committee also recommended the Ministry to take legal action against the culprits and to provide appropriate compensation and relief to Dhami’s family.
Similarly, the Government l has been recommended to make proper arrangements for the upbringing and education of the dependent family members.
The Home Ministry had formed an investigation committee under the coordination of Joint Secretary Janardan Gautam to probe the incident that took place on July 30.
