Kathmandu-Sri Lanka direct flight begins from Tuesday

August 31, Kathmandu: The Sri Lankan Airlines is launching a direct flight from Kathmandu to Sri Lanka from Tuesday.

Spokesperson at Civil Aviation Authority of Nepal (CAAN), Raj Kumar Chhetri, informed that Sri Lankan Airlines was allowed for the Kathmandu-Sri Lanka flight twice a week.

He further said the airlines had applied for the aviation permit for the summer season till September 4.

He added that the company would also apply for further flight permission by observing the situation.
