Process of repatriation of Nepalis from Kabul begins

August 17, Kathmandu: The gradual arrival of Nepali nationals in Afghanistan will begin within few days.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs has stated that it is taking diplomatic initiative from all sides.
The Ministry also stated that the Ministry, Department of Consular Services and the Nepali Embassy in New Delhi are in regular contact with the Nepali citizens and their employers through previously announced telephone numbers, online portals, Viber, WhatsApp and email.
The process of safe repatriation of Nepali nationals in Kabul, Afghanistan has begun from Monday.
Meanwhile, as many as 1 hundred 34 Nepalis have registered their details on the web portal of the Department of Consular Services as of 6:00 pm on Monday
Earlier, the Ministry had urged all concerned to help collect the details of Nepali nationals in Afghanistan for rescue purposes by registering them on the website of the Consular Services Department at https://mofa.gov.np/registration/. Furthermore, mobile numbers including Viber and WhatsApp facility + 977-9749326458 (Consular Service) Department), + 977-9749326459 (Ministry of Foreign Affairs) and +918929601925 (Nepalese Embassy, New Delhi) have also been provided for registering details of those requiring evacuation from Afghanistan.
