US to provide coronavirus vaccines to Nepal under COVAX; PM Oli expresses gratitude 

June 4, Kathmandu: The US government has announced to provide the Covid-19 vaccines to various countries including Nepal under the COVAX facility.

Around 25 million vaccines would be provided to various country across to globe, while the Asian countries including Nepal would receive 7 million vaccines.

Prime Minister K.P Sharma Oli has expressed gratitude to the American President and Vice-President for the US government’s decision to provide vaccines to Nepal.

“We welcome the US’s decision to provide COVID-19 vaccines to Nepal.” PM Oli tweeted on Thursday.

“Thank you.. for responding to our appeal for these precious life-saving doses! Nepal and Nepali people remain grateful. This reaffirms the strength of Nepal-US friendship.” PM Oli said in the tweet.
