Corona virus claims 55 lives in a day in Nepal

May 4, Kathmandu: Coronavirus has  claimed 55 deaths in the past 24 hours.

The Health Ministry on Tuesday also  reported 7660 new corona virus infection cases. These figures are the record breaking coroan related deaths and daily rise in corona cases in Nepal since the pandemic began.

This is the highest daily rise in death toll as well. With this, Nepal’s corona related death toll has now reached 34 hundred and 17.

In last twenty four, 17 hundred and 755 people recovered from the infection.

As per the Ministry’s update, Nepal’s active corona infection cases have now neared 59 thousand 8 hundred.
