NC President Deuba suggests government to carry out PCR test of all Nepalese returning home from India

April 30, Kathmandu: Nepali Congress President Sher Bahadur Deuba has suggested the government mandatory carry out the PCR test of all Nepalese who are returning home from India.

Addressing a press meeting at his residence in Kathmandu on Friday, Congress President Deuba urged the government to carry out PCR test of all at the border check points compulsorily and keep them at holding centers until the test results were obtained.

He also suggested the government should send the infected ones to the isolation centers coordinating with the local levels.

Blaming the government of turning insensitive towards corona pandemic, Congress President Deuba claimed the corona pandemic grew menacing due to the government’s negligence.

He also warned towards the threat in villages as people moved to villages from cities without having tests.

Furnishing 11 point suggestions to the government, Congress president Deuba asked the public to follow the health safety protocol strictly to avoid infection.
