Nepal stresses collective efforts to eradicate poverty in LDCs

April 30, Kathmandu: Nepal has underscored collective efforts among the Least Developed Countries, landlocked developing countries and Pacific Island developing countries to eliminate poverty and structural hurdles in their zone.

Virtually addressing the 77th session of the United Nations Economic and Social Commission for Asia and the Pacific in Bangkok on Thursday, Vice-Chair of the National Planning Commission Prof. Dr. Puspa Raj Kadel stressed increasing support for the social and economic resilience of the vulnerable economies.

Issuing a press statement on Thursday, Nepali Embassy in Bangkok informed that Nepal stressed the need for unified efforts to diversify trade and alleviate poverty.
