cpn UML divides portfolio of general convention organizing committee members

April24, Kathmandu: The CPN-UML has divided portfolios of its 10th national general convention organizing committee members.

A meeting of the organizing committee held at the Prime Minister’s official  residence in  Baluwatar  on Friaday allocated work responsibilities of the committee members.

However, leaders close to senior leaders Madhav Kumar Nepal and Jhalanath Khanal have not been entrusted with any responsibilities.

According to the new portfolio division, Party Chairman KP Sharma Oli has been designated the in-charge of party department of school while general secretary Iswar Pokharel with the responsibilities of party central office in-charge and Valley special committee deputy in-charge.

Likewise, Bishnu Prasad Poudel was designated the in-charge of the department of organization; and the department of finance and planning.

Home Minister Ram Bahadur Thapa was given the portfolio of in-charge of Bagmati province and the department of national security promotion.

Lekharaj Bhatta was entrusted with the responsibilities of  Far Western in-charge and the chief of the department of industry and commerce. and  Top Bahadur Rayamajhi with the portfolio of in-charge of fronts and organizations.

Foreign Affairs Minister Pradeep Kumar Gyawali has been designated the responsibility of the party spokesperson and in-charge of publicity and publication department. Subash Nembang has been given the in-charge of province-1 and the department of parliamentary affairs.
