Rural Municipality closes service for six days fearing spread of corona virus

March 26, Kaski: Machhapuchhre Rural Municipality here has closed its services for six days in the wake of the rising spread of coronavirus of late.

According to Chairperson Karna Bahadur Gurung, all services provided from the rural municipality office have been halted from 26th of March 26 to 31st of March.

He added that a number of corona virus-infected persons grew at Lahachowk of Ward no 4 in the rural municipality.

Three persons who were members of a cooperative got infected after they return from the visit. Based on contact tracing, other people were tested, which resulted in infection among 13 more persons on March 24.
