PM Oli vows to make strategic efforts to reduce disaster risks

January 15, Kathmandu: The 23rd earthquake safety day has been marked with various programs on Friday.

The day was observed under the slogan of ‘Earthquake safety, protection of lives of people in public cooperation’. The day is being marked in the commemoration of 8.3 magnitude earthquake in 1934.

On the occasion of the earthquake safety day, Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli has vowed to make strategic efforts to reduce disaster risks.

Prime Minister Oli stressed on the need for cooperation between all concerned bodies including citizens to reduce the casualties and loss of properties from the disasters including earthquakes.
