Public holiday to mark Maghe Sankranti

January 13, Kathmandu: The federal government has decided to give a public holiday on the occasion of Maghe Sankranti and Maghi festivals on Thursday.

The decision taken by the Council of Ministers on January 10 was shared on Tuesday by the Home Ministry.

As per the decision, there will be public holiday  across the country on Thursday.

Likewise, all the  government and public offices, as well as Nepal diplomatic missions abroad will remain closed.
