Agreement to produce weather related programs

Kathmandu: An agreement has been reached today between Radio Nepal and the Department of Hydrology and Meteorology to produce weather-related programs.

The agreement was signed by Buddhi Bahadur KC, Executive Director of Radio Nepal, and Sarju Kumar Baidya, Director General of the Department of Hydrology and Meteorology.

As per the agreement, Radio Nepal will broadcast a radio program called “Mausam Chautari” every Friday from 8:15 am to 8:30 am.

This type of weather-related radio program is expected to facilitate the daily life of the farmers and all the citizens involved in the agricultural sector.

Similarly, an agreement has been reached between Radio Nepal and the Department of Environment to broadcast environmental awareness messages.

The agreement was signed by Radio Nepal’s Executive Director Buddhi Bahadur KC and Director General of the Environment Department Mukunda Prasad Niraula.

As per the agreement, Radio Nepal will broadcast various messages related to forests and the environment.
