Speaker to take oath on Monday

Newly-elected Speaker of the House of Representatives (HoR) Agni Prasad Sapkota is scheduled to take an oath of office and secrecy on Monday morning.

Sapkota would be sworn in at the Office of the President, it is said. As per the Constitution of Nepal, the President would administer an oath to Speaker.

Sapkota was elected the Speaker of the HoR unopposed from the House meeting on Sunday.
