Transportation of ballot papers begins for by-election
Kathmandu, Nov 20: The transportation of ballot papers for the forthcoming by-election has begun.
Election Commissioner Narendra Dahal shared that with the completion of the printing of ballot papers, the transportation began for the November 30 by-election today. He said all constituencies will get the ballot papers within three days.
The election materials including the ballot papers will be handed over to the chief returning officer. As the ballot papers and voter’s identity cards are sensitive documents, these are being transported by the Nepal Army.
Meanwhile, the Election commission is to begin the weeklong voters’ education programme from tomorrow.
