EC registers nearly 18 million eligible voters for upcoming federal and provincial elections

Kathmandu: The Election Commission has confirmed the registration of 17,988,570 eligible voters who can vote in the upcoming federal and provincial elections. 

Spokesperson of the Commission Shaligram Sharma Poudel told media persons that a meeting of the election commission on Friday approved the final voters’ name list including all eligible voters for the November 20th election.

Likewise, the Election commission has approved 10 thousand 8 hundred and 91 voting stations and 22 thousand 2 hundred and 26 voting booths across the country.

Spokesperson Sharma said voters’ lists and voting booths’ details could be checked on the commission websites.
