Home Minister Khand and Law Minister Koirala meet Maoist center Chairman Dahal, today

Kathmandu: Home Minister Bal Krishna Khand and Minister of Law, Justice and Parliamentary Affairs Govinda Prasad Sharma Koirala discussed with the leaders of the Maoist Center including Chairman of CPN Maoist Center and former Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal.

Maoist leaders Dev Prasad Gurung, Barshaman Pun and Shakti Basnet also participated in the discussion held at Dahal Niwas Khumaltar on Monday morning.

Home Minister Khand informed that there was a discussion between the leaders about the bills including the bill to amend the Nepali Citizenship Act, 2063 submitted by the government to the Federal Parliament.

Similarly, there was a discussion about how to proceed with the Truth and Reconciliation Commission and the Commission of Inquiry on Disappeared Persons. In this matter too, the ruling parties have reached a theoretical consensus to move forward.
