FNSS conference elects 25-member working committee
Kathmandu: The first national conference of the Federation of Nepalese Sudi Society has concluded.
The conference unanimously elected a 25-member working committee led by Parameshwor Mahaseth.
Uma Shankar Sah has been elected senior vice president, Naresh Mahaseth and Shanti Mahato vice president and Sheetal Prasad Mahato general secretary.
Similarly, Ramswarup Mahaseth was picked as secretary and Binod Sah as treasurer.
On the occasion, Vice-Chancellor of the Agriculture University, Madhes Province, Dr Baijanath Mahato stressed the need for bringing new plans and creating new viewpoints for the development and up-gradation of the Sudi community.
The conference was participated by seniors from around 150 Sudi communities from districts including Kathmandu, Lalitpur, Bhaktapur, Bhaktapur, Jhapa, Morang, Saptari, Siraha, Dhanusha, Mahottari, Sarlahi, Rautahat, Bara and Parsa.
