COVID-19: 83 new cases recorded in past 24 hours

Kathmandu: A total of 83 new cases of COVID-19 have been reported in the country in the past 24 hours, according to the Ministry of Health and Population.
The new cases were detected from 7,884 PCR and Antigen tests conducted in various laboratories across the country during the same period, the Ministry said.
Similarly, 130 infected ones have enjoyed recovery during the same period. With this the recovery caseload has reached 961,348 so far. The recovery rate is 98.3 per cent.
Likewise, 11,950 people have succumbed to the flu-like infection till date. There has been no death reported from the infection in the past 24 hours.
Meanwhile, 103,538 people have been vaccinated against COVID-19 today alone. Currently, there are 4,746 actives cases of COVID-19.
