PM Deuba congratulates rights activist Bhumika

March 15, Kathmandu: Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba has congratulated social activist Bhumika Shrestha on being honoured with the ‘International Courageous Women Award’ for this year.

The US State Department conferred the award on Shrestha for her contribution to the rights of non-binary people.

In a tweet, PM Deuba congratulated Bhumika Shrestha for receiving the prestigious International Courageous Women Award in recognition of her advocacy of the rights of the LGBTQ+ community.
