43 candidates from 9 political parties file candidacy for NA members election

Kathmandu: Forty-three candidates from 9 political parties have filed their candidacy today for the election of the post of 19 National Assembly members.

Spokesperson of the Election Commission Shaligram Sharma confirmed that the candidates on Tuesday filed their candidacies for the election to be held on the 26^th of January.

The commission will provide the election symbol to the candidate on the 9^th of January.

The term of eight members of the CPN (UML), four members of the CPN (Unified Socialsist), four members of the CPN (Maoist Center) and three members of the Nepali Congress is coming to an end on the 4th of March 4.
