Government decides to hold provincial and federal elections on November 20

Kathmandu: The meeting of the Council of Ministers held today decided to hold the elections for the federal and the Provincial Assembly in the same phase on November 20. 

After the meeting, the Minister of Communications and Information Technology Gyanendra Bahadur Karki informed that the meeting decided to hold the elections in a single phase on November 20. 

Communication Minster Karki further said the cabinet meeting also discussed the matters of rescue, relief, and resettlement of the victims of rain-induced disasters.

Responding to the queries of the media persons, Communication Minister Karki said the term of the House of Representatives and Province Assembly would come to an end after the nomination of candidacies for the upcoming provincial and federal elections.
