Foreign Experts stress further consolidation of relations with China (audio report)

July 27, Kathmandu: Foreign Affairs experts have suggested that the historical and cordial relations between Nepal and China should be used for the betterment of both countries.
During a program titled ‘Friendship across the Mountains’ organized by the Friends of Silk Road Club Nepal on Tuesday, foreign affairs expert Hiranyalal Shrestha reminded that Nepal had always adopted a one-China policy and urged both countries to work for mutual benefit.
Former Governor Dr Dipendra Bahadur Chhetri said that all the political parties of Nepal should work together and make an unequivocal economic and foreign policy for neighbouring and friendly countries.
The Nepali Ambassador to Sri Lanka, Basudev Mishra, said that the relations between Nepal and China were getting stronger due to the help provided by the Chinese government.
The General Secretary of the club, Dr Kalyanraj Sharma, informed that the program was organized to discuss the recent high-level visits from China, explore ways to improve bilateral relations and enable the exchange of political, economic, social, and cultural knowledge and experience.
