Health Minister Khapung admitted to hospital

July 24, Kathmandu: Minister for Health and Population Bhawani Prasad Khapung has been admitted to hospital after his sugar levels increased.

Minister’s personal secretary Manoj Limbu has said the Minister is receiving treatment at the emergency ward of Bir Hospital.

Minister Khapung was admitted to the hospital after he suffered dizziness and vomited, said Dr. Bhupendra Basnet, Acting Chief Administrative Officer at the Bir Hospital.

Dr. Basnet said the Minister got a preliminary checkup and his health was in good condition.
