Three bills tabled in NA for deliberations
Kathmandu: The National Assembly has unanimously endorsed the proposals seeking deliberation on the Medicine Bill (Third Amendment) 2022 and the Bill related to the Protection of Medical Workers and Health Institute (First Amendment) 2022.
Health Minister Birod Khatiwada presented the bills at the National Assembly meeting on Thursday.
Likewise, the National Assembly also unanimously endorsed the proposal for seeking clause-wise deliberations on Oath Bill to be sent to the Legislation Management Committee.
Earlier, National Assembly lawmakers stressed the need for maintaining unity among all the political parties to safeguard the nationality.
Speaking at a special hour of the National Assembly, CPN Maoist Centre Lawmaker Narayan Kaji Shrestha said Nepal should maintain balanced diplomatic relations with all the friendly nationals.
He also claimed that the USA’s State Partnership Program is against the country’s national integrity, sovereignty and non-alignment policy.
