RPP leader Shrestha succumbs to accident injury

Kathmandu: Rastriya Prajatantra Party (RPP) district leader Jeevan Kumar Shrestha who was critically injured after being hit by a motorcycle on Friday passed away amidst the treatment in Kathmandu.

Shrestha was hurt in the accident near his house at Diktel Bazar of Diktel Rupakot Majhuwagadhi municipality in Khotang and was taken to the Bansbari-based Neurological Hospital on a chartered flight.

The 58-year –old was proclaimed dead today, according to RPP central member Rabin Chamling. 

The over-speeding motorcycle (Pradesh 1–05–001 Pa 6837) hit him from back, causing serious injuries to head and chest.
