NC wins in Kirtipur Municipality

May 17, Kathmandu: Nepali Congress candidate Raj Kumar Nakarmi has been elected as the Mayor of Kirtipur Municipality, securing 9 thousand and 43 votes. His nearest rival from CPN UML Keshratna Bajracharya got 5 thousand and 7 votes, according to chief returning officer in Kathmandu, Thakur Bhattarai.

Similarly, Janata Samajbadi Party’s Shuva Laxmi Shakya has been elected Deputy Mayor, securing 8 thousand 6 hundred 65votes while her nearest rival from CPN UML Bindu Maharjan got 7thousand 2 hundred and 6 votes.
