NC delegates authority to pick the mayor and deputy mayor of metropolises to Party President Deuba

Kathmandu: The Nepali Congress has delegated the right to pick the mayor and deputy mayor of the metropolises to Party President Sher Bahadur Deuba.

The meeting of the central work execution committee held at party headquarters Sanepa today delegated the rights to party president Deuba.

A press statement issued by the party’s chief secretary Krishna Prasad Poudel states that the meeting nominated senior leader Ram Chandra Poudel to the central parliamentary committee.
