ADB Vice-President Shixin Chen meets PM Deuba

Kathmandu: Asian Development Bank Vice-President Shixin Chen met with Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba on Sunday.

During the meeting, ADB Vice president Chen reiterated the bank’s commitment to further strengthen its partnership with Nepal.

In his meeting with the Prime Minister, Vice president Chen reaffirmed ADB’s commitment to continue to support Nepal, focusing on the government’s reforms and investments in infrastructure and human resource development.

He also commended the government on the completion of the Gautam Buddha International Airport in Bhairahawa. 

Likewise, in his meeting with Finance Minister Janardan Sharma vice president Chen noted the government’s efforts to accelerate the implementation of development programs and reforms.

ADB Vice Chair Chen is in Nepal for his seven-day-long visit starting on April 13.
